Who we are
OpenBionics is the data controller for personal data submitted through the contact form on this website. You can reach us at info@openbionics.org.
What we collect
- Your name, email, and (optionally) organisation and subject line.
- The content of your message.
- A timestamp of your consent and the page URL of the submission.
Why we process it (lawful bases under the GDPR)
- Consent (Art. 6(1)(a)) — you tick the consent box before submitting the form.
- Pre-contractual measures (Art. 6(1)(b)) — where your enquiry concerns a potential engagement with OpenBionics.
We process the information solely to respond to your enquiry and, where appropriate, to follow up about a research, clinical, or commercial relationship you have initiated with us. We do not use your information for marketing unless you separately opt in.
Who receives it
Submissions are transmitted by FormSubmit (formsubmit.co), a form-forwarding service that delivers the message to info@openbionics.org. FormSubmit acts as a processor and does not use the content for its own purposes. After delivery, the message is stored in OpenBionics' email system and is only accessible to the small team responsible for responding to enquiries.
How long we keep it
We retain your submission only as long as needed to respond to your enquiry and, where applicable, for the duration of any resulting engagement. Stale enquiries are deleted from our inbox within 24 months unless you have asked us to keep your details on file.
Your rights
- Access, rectification, erasure, restriction, or portability of your data.
- Withdraw consent at any time, without affecting past processing (Art. 7(3)).
- Lodge a complaint with your local data-protection authority.
